Waste Connections shares moved to a new all-time high when the company reported that its fourth-quarter profits met Wall Street expectations and approved a stock split. Waste Connections has reported $20.6 million in profit, or 44 cents per share, with $210.7 million in revenue. In addition, the company approved a 3-for-2 stock split in the form of a dividend, to be paid March 13 to shareholders of record February 27. Waste Connections also projected 2007 revenue of between $920 million and $930 million.
