According to the U.S. EPA Office of Solid Waste, EPA Administrator Steve Johnson has signed the final rule designed to streamline the hazardous waste regulations covering cathode ray tubes (CRTs). This regulation makes it easier to collect and recycle CRTs. Safely recycling this equipment saves energy and conserves resources while reducing the amount of lead in the environment.
