Some of the world’s largest companies will share how they cut costs on their packaging while ensuring compliance with global recycling laws at the next "Take It Back!" conference, to be held February 24-26, 2003 in Alexandria, Virginia. "Stewardship in the New Economy" is the theme for the eighth annual conference, organized by Raymond Communications and co-sponsored by Foresite Systems Ltd.

Corporate case studies will include: Eastman Kodak’s new packaging designs; IBM Corp.’s wood packaging; and, GE Medical’s equipment take-back program for hospitals. On the regulatory side, there will be presentations about the latest European packaging directive and electronics directive as well as the status of the U.S. National Electronic Product Stewardship Initiative and state legislation, and more.
