Recycling Depot Equipment Supply, Operation, and Materials Processing and Sale

The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD), in accordance with its Solid Waste Management Plan, requires the services of one or more contractors to provide recycling services to the entire district, excluding Pender Harbor. The activities required include the supply of Haul-All equipment for two recycling depots, operation of two staffed recycling depots, the sorting and consolidation of materials received, the sale of recyclable materials, and the disposal of any non-recyclable materials that are received. The Request for Proposals (RFP) outlines in detail the services to be provided by the Contractor(s).

Sealed proposals marked, "Proposal – Operation of the SCRD Recycling Program" shall be delivered to the SCRD office by 4:00 p.m., local time, November 15, 2004. A Mandatory Bidder’s Information Meeting is scheduled for October 14, 2004 at 10:00 am.
