The Cement Association of Canada is presenting a technical seminar entitled “Understanding and Applying Solidification/Stabilization Remediation Technology in Canada.”

The event will be held June 1, 2006 at the Toronto Board of Trade, Airport Centre, 830 Dixon Rd (at Attwell Drive), Toronto, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A continental breakfast and lunch are included.

Solidification/stabilization is an established treatment technology that has been used to treat a variety of hazardous wastes and used effectively in the remediation of many contaminated properties. This upcoming seminar will include presentations given by environmental and remediation professionals, remediation contractors, developers and technical experts on solidification/stabilization treatment as a remediation method for contaminated properties in Canada, including brownfields.
