Are you interested in influencing the direction and future of the Recycling Council of Alberta? Then the Recycling Council of Alberta (RCA) urges you to join one of its committees. Current committees include Leadership & Advocacy; Communications; Industrial, Commercial & Institutional (IC&I); and Market Development. Details on what the committees are all about can be found in the RCA’s Strategic Plan.
Committees meet once every two months in Red Deer (except December when they meet in Edmonton). Meeting format allows for membership in two committees if desired, normally with one meeting in the morning (two concurrent committee meetings) and the other in the afternoon (again, concurrent meetings). Depending on your choice(s) of committees, RCA will pair up the concurrent sessions with the least participant conflicts. Details on agendas, start times and location information are normally emailed to participants about a week prior to each meeting day.
The next committee meetings are scheduled for December 7th, coinciding with the RCA’s Christmas Party in Edmonton at Molson House.
Starting in February 2006, the regular committee meeting day will change to the THIRD TUESDAY of the month (that’s Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006).
The input of members is very important to the vibrancy and success of the Recycling Council of Alberta. RCA asks that interested persons email or call the association today to join the committee of their choice.
