The Ontario Waste Management Association (OWMA) will hold its Annual Meeting on Wednesday, February 15. The meeting will take place at the Airport holiday Inn "Select" at 970 Dixon Road (near the Pearson International Airport).
An afternoon seminar program will be followed by evening cocktails and a gala dinner. Environment Minister Leona Dombrowsky has been invited as keynote dinner speaker. The afternoon seminar will feature special points of interest including the Adam’s Mine Project, environment ministry policy initiatives and an NGO perspective on waste management.
After the dinner, OWMA President John Devins of Sandhill Disposal and Recycling will turn over the presidency to Nigel Guilford of Capital Environmental Resources.
