Onyx Waste Services, Inc. of Milwaukee has purchased one of central Wisconsin’s leading hauling, collection, recycling and disposal companies, Deluxe Disposal Service with locations in Mosinee and Stevens Point.

“Deluxe Disposal Service is a great company, and today’s acquisition allows Onyx to increase its presence in providing quality waste services to central Wisconsin,” said Chris Rooney, regional manager for Onyx Waste Services. “Deluxe Disposal Service’s strong commitment to customer care will fit well with Onyx Waste Services, which has a reputation as a customer focused and community-minded company.

“This acquisition will integrate our services to better serve our customers throughout the region. This is truly a win-win for both companies and we look forward to continuing to build on our positive relationships with municipalities, businesses and residents in central Wisconsin.”

Rooney said the integration of the two companies will be seamless and expand Onyx’s overall presence in the area. Rooney indicated Onyx would also look for ways to increase efficiencies and continue to provide a high level of service to central Wisconsin area customers.
