Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has announced the grand opening of its Computer and Electronics Depot, located in the Toronto area.
The ERA is proud to bring the system currently in place in Calgary and Edmonton to Ontario and Toronto.
This Computer and Electronics Depot location will serve the businesses and individuals in Toronto and GTA as a point to drop off and deliver old computer and electronic equipment for donations and recycling.
A large city-wide program is going to be established with the depot acting as a hub for thousands of old computers, laptops and electronics destined into landfills or incineration otherwise.
Now old computers can be possibly given a new life through ERA’s donation and reuse programs. Many local charities, non-profit groups and low-income communities will benefit from this program.
Refurbished computer equipment is put back into the community, locally and abroad.
The locations grand opening ceremony is scheduled for December.
Companies and individuals from Toronto and the GTA can already contact ERA to donate, remarket or recycle surplus, excess, or obsolete computer equipment at www.era.ca
