LTR Products, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh-based Liberty Tire Recycling, the premier provider of tire recycling services in the United States, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Heidi Kusta as sales assistant for the organization.
“Heidi’s diverse background and excellent communication and organizational skills make her a great fit for our team,” says Brad Pittam, general manager of LTR Products. “We look forward to her contributions to the organization.”
Kusta was named Miss Illinois in 2006 as part of the Miss America Pageant. A highly experienced speaker, Kusta served as a certified presenter for Character Counts, the nation’s most effective character education program. She was also a spokeswoman for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American Heart Association.
Prior to her work with the Miss America organization, she was a wedding photographer and post-production administrator for Studio West Photography in Libertyville, Illinois. Most recently, Kusta was a teacher at Mundelein High School in Mundelein, Illinois. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in photography from Columbia College Chicago.
