Richard Ball has been named manager of Heil Environmental’s Ready Truck program. The Heil Ready Truck program offers haulers access to complete refuse collection vehicles that are in stock and ready to work.

“Our goals are to provide haulers with vehicles built to proven specs that they can rely on to go to work right away and to help them avoid increasingly long lead times for new vehicles," Ball says.

"All of our Ready Trucks are built to solid specifications with the most popular options. And with chassis lead times continuing to be extended in the face of upcoming changes to emissions standards, haulers who would otherwise have to wait months for a new refuse collection vehicle can get one from our national distribution network through the Heil Ready Truck program in just two weeks."

In addition to managing the Ready Truck program, Ball is also responsible for Heil’s vehicle demo program. This program is used to demonstrate new Heil bodies and newer model truck chassis around North America.

Ball joined Heil in 2001 in the market development department. He most recently served as market development manager. The department was charged with leading grassroots marketing efforts to help Heil distributors with marketing in their individual territories.

Ball earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi. He worked from 1997 to 1998 as part of the press team for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, then earned a master’s of business administration from the University of Alabama.
