Groupe Gaudreau president, Mr. Daniel Gaudreau and his general manager, Mr. Johnny Izzi, are happy to announce the recent acquisition of Intersan Quebec City division of Waste Management. Gaudreau, who’s head office is located in Victoriaville, Quebec, has now become the largest private waste management company in the Quebec City region.

All Intersan’s I.C.I. and municipal recyclable and waste transportation and collection activities are included in the acquisition. Gaudreau has moved into the existing building from which Intersan operated. All the forty or so jobs are maintained and Gaudreau expects that the number of employees will increase in the next few years.

"Groupe Gaudreau has built an impressive reputation within numerous municipalities throughout the province of Quebec. We have already been awarded other municipal contracts in the Quebec City area. This acquisition is part of our business growth strategy and confirms our position as a leader in the field of integrated waste management," said Johnny Izzi.

Gaudreau is a 45-year-old Quebec-based company that specializes in the management of waste materials for the residential, industrial and commercial sectors operating over 200 vehicles.
