On May 20, 2009 the Michigan Recycling Coalition elected Jack Iwema to their Board of Directors. Iwema’s career in the environmental services sector spans 35 years through various aspects in the solid waste, scrap, septic waste, and electronic waste industries. Jack is the General Manager of GEEP Michigan located in Warren, MI.

The Michigan Recycling Coalition is based in Lansing, Michigan, and is a non-profit educational organization, bringing together members from government, institutions, businesses and citizens with the common goal of promoting sound resource management through source reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting in Michigan.
The appointment reflects the growing concern for proper management of electronic waste in Michigan.
