The proceedings are now available for the 2007 conference of the Composting Council of Canada (CCC). The proceedings can be accessed at:
Says the CCC: “While all the presentations are outstanding and you will want to review them all in detail, one of the presentations arose from a study commissioned by New Brunswick Environment regarding the assessment of the Socio-Economic Benefits of Composting. The study which will be released in final form next year found that there are significant financial and employment benefits to be realized from composting organic residuals.”
The CCC thanks everyone who was able to join the event this year in Moncton, and especially to all those of you who went above and beyond the call of duty to make the 2007 conference successful.
“Special thanks are once again extended to our conference sponsors including: Westmorland-Albert Solid Waste Management Corporation, Loblaw Companies/George Weston Limited, New Brunswick Department of the Environment, Alberta Environment, W. Ralston Canada, Envirem Technologies, Clorox Company of Canada, Al-Pack Enterprises, ALLU Group, Island Waste Management Corporation, ADI International, Miller Composting Corporation and New Era Technologies/HotRot Composting Systems, Greater Moncton Sewerage Commission.
