Constantino Lannes, President of Sennebogen LLC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joel Paikin as the company’s Regional Sales Manager for the growing market in Canada. Paikin brings 30+ years of experience in the equipment business, including the last twelve years at Top Lift Enterprises, the Sennebogen distributor for Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia, to his new position.
“I guess you could say the heavy equipment business is in my blood,” says Paikin. “My father was involved in providing equipment to the scrap metal industry back in the late 1940s and early 1950s and I’ve spent 30 years of my life working with heavy equipment. This appointment is a natural progression in my personal and professional growth. I’m very excited to be joining the Sennebogen team.”
Working out of Toronto, Ontario, Paikin identifies three major challenges facing him in his new position. “I will be looking to constantly build a strong distribution & service network. Additionally, I will be working with the distributors to promote the company’s continuing expansion into the different material handling markets across Canada,” says Paikin. “I feel my knowledge of the equipment business and long-term relationships with industry people will enable me to hit the ground running.”
Since entering the North American market back in 2000, Sennebogen has grown from a virtually unknown company into the leader in the material handling market in North America. According to Lannes, investment in its distribution network and personnel, and making parts and service readily available to its customers and its mission to respond to the engineering demands of their customers, account for the company’s success and continued growth.
“Since 2000, the company has experienced continued growth and expansion. This past year (2008) has been a good one for Sennebogen,” says Lannes. “We have been able to recruit outstanding regional sales managers like Anthony Laslavic, Michael Worth, and now, Joel Paikin to our Sennebogen team. Our list of outstanding distributors has continued to grow and we delivered North America’s first Sennebogen 880 material handlers, the largest unit produced by the company, to a number of North American customers this year. Early in 2009, our new 53,000 square foot training and technical support and parts distribution centre near Charlotte, North Carolina will be operational. These are exciting times for Sennebogen and its distributors and personnel.”
Lannes is delighted to have Paikin onboard. “With Joel’s industry knowledge and expertise and the relationships he has developed in the Canadian market, I know that his success will be Sennebogen’s success.”
