Autocar, LLC of Hagerstown, Indiana, in conjunction with Cummins Inc. of Columbus, Indiana, has announced an agreement whereby Autocar will be exclusively powered by Cummins ISL and ISM engines in its low-cab-over-engine Xpeditor truck line.

"We at Autocar are putting our full confidence behind Cummins. Cummins’ support and assistance during our business start-up and their continued support in the growth of Autocar has been unprecedented in this industry," explained James Johnston, President of Autocar Truck.

"Autocar believes in Cummins current product line and in their technology going forward into 2007 and beyond. We are confident in the abilities of our two companies to succeed in the Xpeditor truck line," he added.

Cummins brings an extensive parts and service network to the Autocar customer with over 3,500 certified service locations for heavy and medium duty trucks across North America.

Autocar, LLC, headquartered in Hagerstown, is a manufacturer and marketer of LCF class 8 trucks. Their products are sold into an array of heavy vocational truck markets, primarily in refuse and waste disposal. Autocar’s customer service and satisfaction initiative called "Autocar Solutions" helps customers address a wide range of needs and can be accessed at www.autocartruck.com or through the company’s toll-free phone at 877-973-3486.
