Today John Skinner, Ph.D., Executive Director and CEO of the Solid Waste Association of North America, announced the election of Anne Germain as the new Technical Division Representative to SWANA’s Executive Committee.

Ms. Germain will take over for Chris Campman, National Solid Waste Practice Leader with Gannet Fleming, who has served in the role for three years, at the Annual International Board Meetings held in conjunction with WASTECON in Phoenix, Arizona on September 17 to 23, 2004.

"I am extremely pleased to welcome Anne as our new Technical Division Representative,” said Dr. Skinner. “Her insight into the solid waste field and her knowledge and dedication to our association will be a valuable asset to our association."

Ms. Germain has been a SWANA member since 1995, recently serving as director of SWANA’s Landfill Management Technical Division, and as president of SWANA’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter. She is currently Manager of Engineering at the Delaware Solid Waste Authority, and has over 13 years of experience in the solid waste field.
