Dr. Roberta Bondar (first Canadian woman in space, and U of T Mississauga alumna) will be speaking about sustainability and the environment at a lecture on Thursday, March 26, 6:30 p.m., at the Communication, Culture and Technology Building, Room 1080, University of Toronto Mississauga, 3359 Mississauga Rd. N.
Dr. Bondar’ lecture will focus on how society needs to change in order to live sustainably. How do we need to change the way we interact and connect with the environment? During the presentation, Dr. Bondar will be showing slides taken from some of her four photographic novels. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. The cost for students with a valid University of Toronto Student Card will be $3; the cost for all other community members and the public will be $5.
