Golfers can still sign up for the First Annual Alberta Environmental Stewardship Scholarship Golf Tournament, to be held Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Alberta Springs Golf Resort (located on Hwy 11 only three miles west of Red Deer).
Participants will follow a modified four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 8:00 am. It’s going to be a great day, with challenging golf, good industry friends and even a Golf Pro to help you improve your game. There will be a superb banquet with lots of fun prizes provided by industry partners. Individual entry fee for golfers is $100.
This tournament is part of a scholarship program established by three of Alberta’s Environmental Stewardship Organizations (BCMB, AUOMA, ARMA) who have joined together to assist Albertan undergraduate and graduate students who are focusing on environmental studies and who are advocates for the environment. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards the scholarship fund.
