The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientisits of New Brunswick (APEGNB) has presented ADI Systems Inc. with the Corporate Award of Excellence.

The award bestows distinction on a team of engineers that has had a significant positive impact on society, industry, and/or engineering, and recognizes engineering achievements involving New Brunswick professionals.

The next-generation technology developed by ADI Systems has been commercialized and is appropriate for industries such as food processing, forest products and alternative-fuel production. Its first installation, in Massachusetts, resulted in a 60 per cent treatment-plant
increase while reducing energy costs. In a world where food processing, including fish, dairy, beverages, packaged meats, sauces and condiments are commonplace, ADI’s new technology can be implemented to lessen the environmental impact at each processing plant, while reducing capital and operating costs.

ADI Systems Inc. is a world leader in treatment technologies for industrial wastewater management and renewable energy generation. ADI Systems is part of ADI Group Inc., which began in 1945 and has grown to become a world leader in providing a wide variety of solutions to the industrial marketplace – from wastewater treatment to water reuse.

APEGNB administers the Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act. The objectives of the Association are to regulate the practice of engineering and geoscience, to govern the professions in accordance with its Act and Bylaws, and to establish and maintain standards of profesional ethics among its members.
