Audited year-over-year audience measurement of web traffic at the HazMat Management magazine and affiliate Solid Waste & Recycling magazine show outstanding growth, showing the magazine websites are properly focused for the future of the Internet and creating new opportunities for online advertisers at the sites.

Solid Waste & Recycling magazine has a print circulation of 9288 copuies. In the month of December 2008, 5164 unique visitors visited the magazine website (www.solidwastemag.com), up from 3437 in December of the year before. These visitors opened 20390 unique page views at the website (compared to 14955 in December 2007). The electronic newsletter sent out every Tuesday morning went to 6407 readers who opted to receive it, compared to 5162 year-over-year.

The story is similar for Hazmat Management magazine and its website. The print version of the magazine is distributed to 15314 qualified readers. In December 2008, 4311 unique visitors viewed 14470 web pages at the site (www.hazmatmag.com) , compared to 2944 unique visitors viewing 11222 pages in December of the year prior. Almost seven thousand readers (6995) opted to receive the weekly electronic newsletter compared to 5795 in December of 2007.
