Golder Associates Ltd. is pleased to announce that Michael Cant has been appointed the new Canadian Waste Client Market Sector Leader. Michael replaces outgoing leader Michael Snow, who will continue to be active in the waste sector as the Global Sector Leader.
“I think Michael is an excellent choice and will provide solid leadership to our national Waste Client Market Sector Team in continuing to develop our complete suite of client services on a national level,” said Snow.
Since Cant joined Golder in 2006, he took on the role of Ontario Region Waste Sector Leader, but also leveraged his expertise across the country. He has been integral in expanding Golder’s waste management services beyond the firm’s expertise in landfill work into areas like waste management planning, waste diversion, and composting. Michael Cant is currently the vice-president of the Municipal Waste Integration Network (MWIN) and is a contributing editor to Solid Waste & Recycling magazine.
