The Continuous Improvement Fund (CIF) has released a Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) for 2010 priority projects.

The REOI, for use in Ontario municipal recycling programs, is available at the CIF website under Procurement.

The CIF is a funding program that assists municipalities with program changes and infrastructure improvements that benefit the blue box recycling program.

Currently, $19 million in funding is available for special priority projects that have already been proven effective in reducing collection and processing costs and raising recycling capture rates in Ontario communities.

All municipalities that operate municipal blue box recycling programs are invited to review the REOI document to find out how these priority projects may apply to their programs. They are encouraged to respond to the REOI to apply for grant applications in these areas.

Applicants to the REOI: CIF Funding for Priority Projects REOI can use the online or hard copy application.

All REOI submissions are due by Monday, March 22, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.
