RE: “Who’s Hot? Waste-to-Energy Companies in Canada” by John Nicholson (February/March 2010 edition)
I just finished reading the article “Who’s Hot?” and it seemed like a very good time to introduce Renewable Energy Management Inc. (REM) to you.
REM is a project development company that owns the intellectual property license for Canada, the United States and the Caribbean Territories of ENTECH Renewable Energy Solutions Ltd. (www.entech-res.com) — a leader in Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT), a low temperature gasification process for converting waste into clean renewable rnergy while maximizing recycling and reuse.
There is a 20 year history with the technology and over 160 facilities built and distributed globally. Our corporate head office for North America is located in Pickering, Ontario. Our REM specific website is www.rem-energysolutions.com and we have a project under way in Port Hope that will be located in Wesleyville. (See www.rem-wesleyville.ca) We also have a project in the County of Brant that will be starting its EA screening process any time now. These two project sites are strategically located and can offer a tremendous benefit and value to waste management organizations in southern Ontario.
