Alberta Environment has announced that beginning April 1, 2008, leftover paint and empty paint containers will be collected and recycled under a new provincial stewardship program. Assistant Deputy Minister Bev Yee sent a letter to stakeholders introducing the program’s purpose and background, and also announcing upcoming consultation sessions. The Alberta Recycling Management Authority has been delegated to manage the new program.
