As you probably know, a blog is an online column, usually written in a casual diary-style, that addresses timely issues. Most leading magazines have them nowadays.
Our print magazine appears six times per year, so blogs give us a great opportunity to discuss waste issues on a more regular daily and weekly basis.
One of the best features of our blog is that you, the reader and industry professional, will be able to participate, reply to our blogs, and make your opinions known!
The first blogger is Editor Guy Crittenden. More blogs will be made available for our regular contributors. (We’ll almost set to make an announcement about that. Stay tuned!)
Along with our online surveys, daily news, “Speaker Corner” feature, and other internet services, blogs is our latest investment in making www.solidwastemag.com the online destination for information and learning for anyone in Canada with an interest in waste diversion, recycling, composting, disposal, product stewardship and the many related technical, strategic and policy-oriented topics.
