Edmonton Waste Management seminar tackles organics systems

The Edmonton Waste Management Centre of Excellence is hosting a Technical Seminar to showcase organics diversion challenges and opportunities in the ICI sector.  


The Edmonton Waste Management Centre of Excellence is hosting a Technical Seminar to showcase organics diversion challenges and opportunities in the ICI sector.  

Bringing together experienced experts, the seminar will address the topics inherent in designing an organic program for an institutional and commercial setting:

  • Overcoming infrastructure and logistical challenges;
  • Addressing service operation issues; and
  • Overcoming user challenges.

The seminar will showcase successful organics diversion cases in large institutions featuring a guest speaker from ARAMARK and a case study on the University of British Columbia’s organic diversion efforts.

The seminar will be held on February 27, 2014 from 12:30 – 5:30 pm, at the University of Alberta, Telus Centre (Corner of 110 St & 87th Avenue), Edmonton, AB – Rooms 236 and 238

Fees: $150 Regular / $50 Students (plus GST)
