CWMA workshop set for multi-residential waste services in BC

Multi-family residential properties are a diverse group, each with differing needs, opinions and desired outcomes.

Join the Coast Waste Management Association (CWMA) on February 22, 2013 for exciting discussions on multi-residential waste and recycling with industry experts and peers.

Stakeholders  include recycling service providers, residents, owners of multi-family residences, property management companies, rental and condo associations, recycling markets and environmental, government and  non-government organizations.

The event will take place at the Vancouver Island Conference Center Vancouver Island Conference Center in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Leading the discussions will be:

Glenda Gies – principal of Glenda Gies & Assoc and a member of the MMBC team developing an EPR program for packaging and printed paper in BC

Lynda Brind-Dickson – Associate and Education Services Coordinator with BC Apartment Owners and Managers Association

Angela Wallis – Resource Conservation Manager with King County Housing Authority and co-chair of the Washington State Multifamily Recycling Study Group

Alex Limongelli – Public Sector Manager at Waste Management of Canada. WMI have developed numerous multifamily diversion programs throughout BC
