projects below 100 MW represent a reliable, cleaner and cheaper way to
produce electrical power.
According to Ed Stoermer, Vice President at Lathrop Trotter, "Much of
the power generated in this country must be transformed from a utility
scale, coal model to a natural gas and renewable fuel model. Joining
forces ideally positions for our two firms to thrive in this changing
landscape. Our conclusion was that the CHP growth opportunity could
best be addressed by joining forces and supporting our complementary
product lines, and Sofame will make a valuable contribution."
