FCM Recycling Inc announced on February 20, 2013 that its newest facility located in Toronto, Ontario has successfully completed its assessment under the Recycler Qualification Program (RQP).

FCM’s 40,000-square-foot Toronto facility is the sixth FCM e-waste recycling facility in Canada and the second in Ontario to be approved by the Recycler Qualification Office (RQO).

“This latest achievement demonstrates FCM’s continuous commitment to ensuring that all end-of-life electronics are handled and managed in a safe and environmentally sound manner that safeguards worker health and safety, the whole in accordance with the highest industry standards” said FCM’s VP of Compliance, Chris Karambatsos, in a statement to media.

FCM Recycling is one of North America's leaders in the recycling and safe disposal of end-of-life electronic equipment.

“Through achieving, maintaining and operating FCM in accordance with the standards set forth under the Recycler Qualification Program, we are providing our partners and customers with the comfort that their end-of-life electronics are being properly handled and processed from the point of primary processing to the point of final disposition,” Karambatsos added.
