SCS Engineers has purchased Kansas-based Aquaterra Environmental Solutions, Inc., the company has announced.
“Aquaterra’s business philosophy, company culture, and core values are a good match with our own,” said Jim Walsh, president and CEO of SCS, in March 1, 2013 statement to media. “We wholeheartedly welcome Aquaterra to our SCS family.”
Aquaterra was founded in February of 2002. The company has focused on solid waste management and environmental engineering and consulting.
Aquaterra’s practice areas include:
- Alternative Energy
- Civil Engineering
- Compliance Monitoring and Reporting (air, groundwater, and surface water)
- Construction Quality Assurance
- Environmental Services
- Landfill and Landfill Gas Engineering
- Other Solid Waste Management Services
The current Aquaterra team of nearly 75 employees is located across 10 offices in 7 states.
Doug Doerr, President of Aquaterra, announced that he’s equally enthusiastic.
