Environmental consulting firm Golder Associates has announced that veteran engineer Edward San will join the company as a senior environmental engineer.
San brings more than 30 years of experience in environmental, geotechnical, and civil engineering projects to Golder’s office in Markham, Ontario.
“Our clients will benefit greatly with the addition of Edward’ skills, experience and knowledge to our team,” said National Waste Sector Leader Michael Cant in a statement to media.
One of San’s key areas of practice is landfill design and construction. He has managed and played a key role in many landfill projects of new facilities and expansion and remediation of existing sites.
San also reviewed the draft Ontario regulatory standards (now Regulations 232/98) for new landfilling sites accepting non-hazardous wastes for the Ontario Waste Management Association.
