Call for abstracts: 2012 International Sites and Spills Expo

The International Sites and Spills Expo and Conference is seeking papers and technical presentations focusing on new clean technologies for the remediation of contaminated sites and the detection of hazardous spill compounds.

Topics can include:

-in-situ and ex-situ soil and groundwater treatment

-soil washing and scrubbing

-thermal desorption

-gas and vapour detection

-infrared spectroscopy

-radiation detection.

The preliminary selection of papers and presentations will be based on submitted abstracts and reviewed by a panel of peers.

Abstracts should be no more than 500 words, should include a presenter biography and must be received by March 2, 2012.

Submissions may be sent to Carol Bell-LeNoury, General Manager, Business Information Group, via e-mail to info@sitesandspills.com.

Notification of acceptance will be given by April 5, 2012. Full presentations must be submitted by October 9, 2012.

The 2012 International Sites and Spills Expo and Conference, organized by HazMat Management magazine, will be held at the International Centre in Toronto on November 7 and 8, 2012.
