2013 OWMA annual meeting is less than one month away

The Ontario Waste Management Association’s annual meeting has been confirmed for Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Ontario Minister of the Environment Jim Bradley has confirmed as the event’s keynote dinner speaker. PC Ontario Party Environmental Critic Michael Harris has confirmed as the meeting’s luncheon speaker.

Annual Meeting Program: 

The 2013 AGM draft program is attached and promises great topics and speakers, networking opportunities, a luncheon (Michael Harris, PC Ontario Party Environment Critic) and dinner (Honourable Jim Bradley Minister of the Environment). The Annual Business Meeting of members will be convened prior to the luncheon.

Annual Meeting Hotel Arrangements: 

The OWMA has arranged for a hotel room rate for delegates who are attending the Annual General Meeting.  The Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel is offering a rate of $169 single/double for our meeting delegates.  Please contact the hotel directly and indicate that you are with the Ontario Waste Management Association and that you would like the special rate when you make the reservation (416) 675-6100.  Don't delay - there are only a few rooms available - room rate deadline - February 18th, 2013.
