In August 2010, thousands of city, town, and county, public and private sector public works and solid waste professionals will converge in downtown Boston for two leading association conferences co-located in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Joining forces for the first time are the American Public Works Association (APWA) 2010 International Public Works Congress & Exposition, held August 15 to 18, 2010, and the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) WASTECON 2010, held August 15 to 17, 2010. Between the two groups, an estimated 8,000 professionals will be attending the two events.
Although the two conferences will each operate as separate events, attendees will be able to walk the approximately 140,000 square feet of combined exhibit space and participate in any of the over 200 educational sessions from both events.
